Mandy Graves has over 20 years experience in education as a former classroom teacher and as an Educational Diagnostician. She has experience working with students with and without learning differences, working with parents and teachers to collaborate on student needs, and completing psycho-educational evaluations.

Ms. Graves obtained a Bachelor’s degree from the University of North Texas in 1999, with a major in Interdisciplinary Studies and a minor in Elementary and Early Childhood Education. In 2007, she completed her Master’s of Education at the University of North Texas with a major in Special Education. In addition, she completed the requirements to obtain her Educational Diagnostician certification.

Ms. Graves’ classroom teaching experiences range from kindergarten to fifth grade. In the role of Educational Diagnostician, Ms. Graves has been a campus based diagnostician on various campuses, served on a district wide Assistive Technology Evaluation team, and was a member of a district wide Autism Evaluation Team (students ages 3-21). Ms. Graves has worked with young people of all ages and stages of development and applies these years of experience to administer standardized and evidence-based assessment batteries, as well as, provide school based recommendations, consultation, and advocacy.

Additionally, after years of participating in autism evaluations, Ms. Graves became interested in girls on the Autism Spectrum. In August 2018, Ms. Graves presented “Girls with Autism” at the Texas Autism Conference.

When not working with clients, Ms. Graves enjoys spending time with her family. Watching her children grow and develop in their talents is such a rewarding part of her life.
